Social responsibility means more to us at Simply Soup than just serving good food. We support Action for Women, an Athens-based women’s rights organisation with an all-female team and management, protecting and empowering survivors of gender-based violence. Action for Women creates a women-only safe space where survivors receive the services and support they need under one roof – and supports the recovery, resilience, and reintegration of refugees and asylum seekers.

Less Packaging, More Reuse
Our Weck jar system reduces everyday packaging waste: you can buy your soup in a Weck jar and pay a deposit of CHF 5. Bring your jar back with the white lid to one of our locations and you get your deposit back – simple, and one less jar in the waste stream.
Fresh, Seasonal, Homemade
We think about sustainability in the kitchen too: we cook our soups fresh every day, so our fridge is empty by the end of the day and we start again the next day with fresh ingredients – with no unnecessary stockpiling. Wherever possible, we source seasonal, local produce for maximum freshness and short transport distances. And everything, from the soup to the salad dressing, is made in our own small kitchen.
